Stop Defects at the Source: Corrosion-Resistant Sidewall Blocks. Extend Your Campaign.
1. Standard Size: 230*114*65mm
2. Benefits:
• Superior Erosion Resistance
• Extends Furnace Life
• High-Temperature Stability
The Sidewall Block is one of the most critical and severely serviced refractories in a glass melting furnace. In direct contact with molten glass, especially at the upper regions near the glass melt line , it must withstand temperatures exceeding 1500°C, constant chemical corrosion from the glass melt, alkaline attack from batch materials, and intense thermal shock. Our product is engineered specifically for these extreme conditions, serving as the cornerstone for extending furnace campaign life, ensuring glass quality, and maintaining stable production.
Primarily used for the sidewalls of glass furnaces, especially the upper sidewalls and the glass melt line (metal line) zone. Also used in critical erosion-prone areas such as the sidewalls of the throat and weirs.
