Superior Stability in Severe Thermal Cycling Environments
1. Alumina: ≥80%
2. Standard Size: 230*114*65mm
3. Benefits:
• Optimized Alumina-Mullite Composite Matrix
• Excellent Thermal Shock
• High Hot Strength and Volume Stability
The fused re-sintered alumina-mullite brick series (DAM series) comprises three main models: DAM-80, DAM-85, and DAM-90. Through a unique fusion and secondary sintering process, it perfectly combines the high-temperature performance of alumina with the thermal shock resistance of mullite. This product line exhibits thermal shock resistance exceeding 15 cycles of 1100°C water quenching, with 88%-90% alumina content complemented by 10%-20% silica, forming exceptional characteristics that are both high-temperature resistant and thermal shock resistant. Its dense structure, with apparent porosity controlled below 17%, demonstrates outstanding applicability in regenerator checker bricks, upper structures of glass melting furnaces, as well as channels and forming components.
1.Glass Industry (Secondary Zones)
Regenerator Middle Zones & Checkers: Used in the middle courses of regenerator checkers, balancing cost and performance where conditions are less severe than in the upper zones.
Key Advantage: Provides adequate resistance to alkali vapors and thermal cycling at a competitive cost-performance ratio.
2. Ceramic & Refractory Industry
High-Temperature Kiln Linings: Widely used in the firing zones, crowns, and car tops of tunnel kilns and shuttle kilns for firing sanitaryware, technical ceramics, and high-alumina refractories.
Key Advantage: Provides an optimal balance of thermal shock resistance and high-temperature strength, ensuring structural integrity under repeated heating and cooling cycles.
