A high-performance refractory brick made primarily from sintered sillimanite mineral. It offers excellent high-temperature strength, superior thermal shock resistance, and strong corrosion/erosion resistance. Ideal for critical zones in industrial furnaces, glass kilns, and non-ferrous metallurgy.
The sintered sillimanite brick (GXS series) includes four models (GXS-60 to GXS-68) with 60%-68% Al₂O₃ content, specifically designed for glass furnaces. Manufactured from high-purity sillimanite raw materials, these bricks feature sillimanite and mullite as the primary crystalline phases, delivering excellent thermals shock resistance (1100 °C water quenching ≥30 cycles) and alkali corrosion resistance.
Glass Furnace Regenerators: Superior resistance to alkaline vapor attack at high temperatures. Suitable for feeder channels, cover plates and forming component such as:spout bowls, plungers, tubes, troughs, basins and bowls) in container glass and electronic glass furnaces. Also applicable for regenerator checker arches, walls and checker works.
Blast Furnaces and Hot Blast Stoves: Critical lining zones requiring stability under reducing atmosphere and thermal fatigue.
Chemical and Petrochemical Reactors: Reliable performance in corrosive environments with thermal shocks.
Waste Incineration and Melting Furnaces: Withstands aggressive slags and fluctuating temperatures.
Advanced Ceramic Kiln Furniture: Provides the dimensional stability needed for precision firing.
