The client’s kiln had undergone a cold shutdown and required a complete refining. To maximize the service life of their glass furnace and reduce costly downtime, we recommend Sintered Chrome Corundum Bricks AC-15, which feature an apparent porosity of ≤17% and a bulk density of ≥3.30 g/cm³. This material presents an ideal solution for the highly demanding environment within regenerative chamber.
15% chromium corundum checker bricks (Cr₂O₃≥15%) are primarily used in the upper high-temperature zone of regenerators.
